Shayna is a very skilled, kind, and knowledgeable therapist. What I love most about Shayna is she really took her time initially to figure out who my daughter is and what areas to target. One of her first comments was that my daughter has so much in there that needs to come out. I love how Shayna realizes this and comes from a place of confidence in my daughter's abilities.She is patient and in each session takes the time to explain things that may be confusing and/or acknowledge what my daughter is saying and then help her put more and more of the pieces together. She is thoughtful in her approach and yet flexible with her goals. I have never felt like she puts pressure on my daughter but encourages her to feel confident in what she is saying and her abilities. My daughter loves coming to her lessons each week and feels a great sense of pride afterward.I have noticed my daughter's expressive language grow each day and am surprised at times when she says something I had no idea she knew!I highly recommend Shayna! We have seen speech therapists over the years and I feel like Shayna is gold. We are so happy to be working with her.
