Our family was lucky enough to begin working with Shayna Leonard of Toddler Talk Speech Therapy in 2021. Our daughter was 3 going on 4 and while very bright it was challenging for others to fully understand what she was trying to communicate. Given our daughter's age it was unlikely that her deficiencies were going to fix themselves so she began seeing Shayna once a week for a half hour. We started to see progress right away! Our daughter had a lot to work on (k's, d's and the dreaded "th" among many others!) but Shayna made it a fun, positive experience and our daughter looked forward to her sessions. Our daughter steadily progressed and eventually graduated last month which was such a huge accomplishment and a very proud moment. The graduation certificate is still displayed in our home and our daughter likes showing it off. If your child is struggling with speech, I highly recommend Shayna! She is very good at what she does, incredibly professional, and communicates well with parents. Her cheery disposition and love of working with children is a cherry on top!
